Philadelphia Flyers Preview article 10/7/26

The Flyers are looking to face off against the Ottawa Senators tonight at 7pm. The Flyers are coming off a streaky set of games recently.

The Flyers are looking to secure their first win tonight after starting off 0-2-2. The key for the Flyers to win this game tonight is they need to be physical, they need to hustle, and the offense has to turn it up a notch.

They’ve looked off to say the least through the first four games of the season. They’ve been outscored over ten goals already through the first four games. Zegras, Tippett, and Konecny need to start finding their roles in the offense this year.

Luckily, the Flyers have gotten some good news that the Senators will be without their best defenseman in Jake Sanderson. This should help the Flyers in terms of power play. Their powerplay has been extremely underwhelming this year, so hopefully with that news it will light at fire under them.

Joseph Woll is starting in net tonight for the Flyers and has looked I believe this year so Flyers fans shouldn’t be worried about the net tonight.

We will see where the night takes us but if the Flyers bring that grit and bring that aggressiveness they should come out on top tonight.
