Flyers still searching for first win

Philly is still winless as they host the Ottawa Senators tonight. Here’s what needs to happen for them to win.

They need to get as many shots as they can at Linus Ullmark. He's arguably the best goaltender in the NHL this year, 6-0 with a .949 save percentage and a 1.20 goals-against average. To be able to crack the rock-solid goalie, they will need at least 30 shots to wear him down.

Look for Porter Martone to get extended minutes tonight, especially with Tocchet fighting for his job. He needs to play his stars and please the brass if he wants to extend his leash. To do that, it starts with playing the young stars like Martone.

Last but not least, the defense needs to play physically. Nick Seele has been their top defenseman, and Tocchet could look to build his defensive game plan around him. Seeler is a strong leader who gives his all for 200 feet 24/7.

With hope getting dire, this team needs a win tonight.
