The Eagles head to London this week to play the Jaguars in the second of 3 nfl games in London this season. The Eagles coming off a loss to the Rams where they had a 10 point lead with 7 minutes left in the fourth. Jacksonville enters this game after a gutsy 22-17 win in Cincinnati improving to 3-1. Jaguars fans have to be pleased with how their team has played this season boasting one of the league's best defenses through the first four weeks. The Eagles however are in the thick of it, decimated by injuries on a two game losing streak, don’t expect it to get any better this week. The team is flying in today to London, after the devastating news that Lane Johnson has retired and then Cam Jurgens traded a day later the Eagles may be distracted giving them even more of an uphill battle against one of the league's best.

The Eagles get more bad news before this game, Dontaviyon Wicks suffered a hamstring injury this week in practice and trending towards not playing, Barkley still out, Devonta Smith although he ran some this week doesn’t seem likely to play either. Oh and Drew Kendall the backup center hasn’t practiced all week either…another week another new offensive line combination for the Eagles. The one piece of good news they got is Quinyon Mitchell who left the game Sundays with a knee injury should be returning this week, exactly what the Eagles need going up against the solid recover core of the Jaguars.

This game won’t be pretty for Eagles fans, there’s just too many injuries to really think they can win this one, Jalen Hurts has to be a hero and play perfectly for the Eagles to have a chance but even then it’s a long shot. Ultimately this may go down as one of the worst losses in the Nick Sirianni era.
