Eagles Win, but with a cost.

The Philadelphia Eagles escaped in dramatic fashion Sunday afternoon with a touchdown in the final seconds to seal a victory over the Tennessee Titans improving to 2-0 on the year, however the Eagles did not escape without some bad news.
Saquon Barkley started off the injury woes on the eagles opening play as he was stuffed cold at the line of scrimmage and suffered what has been reported as a “stinger” believed to be a neck injury, he was seen moving up and down the sideline for the rest of the first half and even added a “cowboy collar” (neck roll) and eventually returned for the start of the second half where he played until he suffered what’s being called a “shoulder stinger” after a 4 yard gain. Barkley would not return, the team says he is expected to get an MRI early this week with more information to follow. Barkley evaded today’s game with 4 carries for 9 yards and 1 reception for 11 yards.
Dallas Goedert went down in the second quarter with a knee injury, he would not return. This is huge for the Eagles as in week 1 he was a pivotal piece of the offense scoring twice while being a reliable target for Jalen Hurts. Goedert went down while blocking and it seems as if the Eagles and Goedert did avoid a major injury; it's still scary with his previous injury history. Johnny Mundt the backup tight end was able to come in to replace Goedert but didn’t have much to speak of with only 2 catches for 8 yards. Goedert finished the day with 1 catch for 4 yards.
The good news for the Eagles is they do have an extra day before they play their next game on Monday Night Football in Chicago. Who also will come into that game with some injury concerns of their own as their star quarterback Caleb Williams went down late in their game against Minnesota with what was deemed a hamstring injury, he will be evaluated further early this week as well.
