Eagles Vs Rams Preview 10/4/26

On paper this game seems like a very winnable matchup for either side, unfortunately neither of these teams have lived up to the hype so far.
The Eagles come in fresh off their first loss this past Monday in Chicago, a brutal beatdown which saw the Eagles only post up 7 points in 4 quarters, coming from a late Jalen Hurts rushing touchdown when time expired in the first half. The Rams enter Philadelphia 1-2 after blowing a 16-0 lead to the Broncos on the road last Sunday night. Both Hurts and Stafford turned the ball over, hurting their teams. Hurts with 3 ints and Stafford with 4.
The Eagles offensive line looked a little better Monday night against the Bears decent defensive line but still remains a huge question mark coming into this game. The Rams have a top 10 defensive line in the league and that’s without Myles Garrett at the moment…could this be the game that Aaron Donald shows he still has it?
The Rams defense has looked a little shaky, after big offseason additions the defense hasn’t lived up to the hype completely, although only allowing 21 ppg and 275 total yards of offense on average through the first 3 games it’s clear a big chunk of that was the Monday night decimation against the giants when Jaxson Dart was injured and ruled out after the first drive.
Ultimately this game will come down to which defense can force the big turnover as well as which quarterback avoids it, 2 ints last week in the loss for the rams as well as a big int from Jalen Hurts while driving in the late 3rd quarter down 13…and the Andy Dalton int in the endzone didn’t help either…Both teams enter with something to prove but as of late the Eagles have had the Rams number, it’ll most likely stay that way this week.
