The Eagles come into soldier field Monday night with a record of 2-0 the Bears after dropping 59 points in week one were only held to 3 by their rival the Minnesota Vikings at home, even worse for the Bears they are expected to be without star quarterback Caleb Williams who suffered a low grade hamstring sprain in the fourth quarter last week. Instead of Williams a familiar face will likely suit up against the birds Monday night in Case Keenum. Yes the guy who got obliterated back in 2017 in the NFC Championship game.

The biggest key for the Eagles in this game is the offensive line, they have to step it up. Although Cam Jurgens had his first ever start at left guard Sunday he left a lot to be desired. The offensive line as a whole has been a disappointment the first two weeks of the season, with a Bears defensive line that isn’t great but still good they could really wreck havoc if the Eagles aren’t on their A game.

On the opposite side, can the Eagles defensive line make Keenum uncomfortable? They’ve only gotten 2 sacks this season from defensive lineman one from Carter the other from Nolan Smith. Can the Eagles get pressure and make the Bears uncomfortable? The other angle here is the Bears diced up this defensive line, gashing them numerous times in the Black Friday game where the Bears had their way with this defensive line.

The last time we saw the Eagles Jalen Hurts had the worst perforce of his career turning the ball over 5 times in a 3 point loss, Hurts has played well to begin the season but a huge game from him tonight would really bring confidence into the team and city of Philadelphia…maybe even silence a few national critics (probably not, one can hope though). Jalen Hurts needs to take care of the football but also take some responsible risks.

Ultimately the Eagles should win this game, they’re better and with Caleb Williams out the Eagles advantage gets even better.
