Eagles bring in Kenny Moore!

The Eagles brought in veteran corner Kenny Moore II as depth behind Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper Dejean, and Riq Woolen. The Eagles have lacked corner depth since last year's Super Bowl run, and Kelee has not been reliable enough to count on as a backup. The 31-year-old veteran Moore, who spent his first 9 seasons with the Colts, has built himself a solid career. Moore played at least 15 games in all but one of his seasons in Indy, and he was consistently reliable at the CB position for the Colts, primarily playing in the slot.
Moore made the Pro Bowl one time in his career in 2021, where he racked up 4 interceptions, 102 tackles, and 13 pass defenses. Howie Roseman is banking on Moore being able to channel just a little bit of that season in his time with the Eagles. With the addition of Moore, he will be the backup nickel in behind Copper Dejean, freeing up Michael Carter II to primarily serve as Andrew Makuba’s backup at safety.
There are still questions surrounding Keele Ringo and his future with the team, with the most logical move being to move him to the practice squad. Moore is currently still on the practice squad, but should he be elevated, Ringo’s time on the 53-man roster could be ending soon if Howie believes Mac McWilliams deserves a spot on the team over him.
Kenny Moore will look to be a trusted depth piece, and the Eagles are excited to add his skill set and leadership to the DB room.
