THE SIXERS ARE ROLLING! PHILADELPHIA TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS AGAINST THE BULLS IN 126-107 WIN 11/2/26

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to look like one of the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference, and Monday night was another example of just how much talent this roster has. Philadelphia took care of business against the Chicago Bulls, earning a convincing 126-107 victory and improving to 7-1 on the season.
This was an important game for the Sixers, especially with their star-studded starting lineup finally back together. When you have Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid sharing the floor, there aren't many teams that can match that level of talent. The five starters combined for 102 points, and it was a night where everybody found ways to contribute.
The biggest takeaway from this game was just how difficult Philadelphia is becoming to defend. The Sixers have so many offensive weapons that opposing teams simply cannot afford to focus on one player. If you try to contain Maxey, somebody else is going to make you pay. If you put too much attention on Embiid, Brown and LeBron can take over. That's what makes this lineup so dangerous.
Tyrese Maxey once again showed why he's becoming one of the best guards in basketball. Maxey finished with 26 points, four rebounds, and 11 assists, putting together another fantastic all-around performance. His ability to create opportunities for himself and his teammates continues to separate him from so many other players. He's not just a scorer anymore; he's becoming a complete floor general who can control an entire game.
VJ Edgecombe also deserves a ton of credit for his performance. The young guard finished with 21 points, three rebounds, and five assists while shooting an incredible 9-of-12 from the field. That's 75% shooting! Edgecombe continues to show that he belongs alongside this group of established stars, and his confidence is becoming more noticeable with every game. His athleticism, finishing ability, and willingness to attack the basket give Philadelphia another dimension offensively.
Jaylen Brown was another major contributor, finishing with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Brown has been everything Philadelphia could have hoped for, providing another reliable scoring option while bringing toughness and versatility to the lineup.
LeBron James added 15 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists, continuing to show that he can impact the game without needing to be the primary scorer. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid finished with 15 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Having Embiid back in the lineup and contributing alongside these other stars makes this team even more difficult to deal with.
Another player who deserves recognition is Dean Wade. Wade continues to make his presence known, and he's quickly showing why he can be such a valuable piece of this roster. He finished with eight points, one rebound, and one assist, while shooting 3-of-4 from the field and knocking down both of his three-point attempts.
What makes Wade so important is that he doesn't need the ball in his hands to make an impact. He can defend, knock down open shots, move the basketball, and do the little things that help a team win. Every championship-caliber team needs players like that, and Wade is starting to look like the perfect glue guy for this Sixers squad.
Defensively, Philadelphia deserves plenty of credit as well. The Sixers have continued to play some really good basketball on that end of the floor, and Chicago simply couldn't keep up offensively. The Bulls have a promising young core with plenty of talent, and this isn't to say they're a bad basketball team. However, there's a noticeable difference in experience between these two rosters.
Philadelphia has veterans who have been through just about everything, and that experience showed throughout the night. The Bulls struggled to consistently match the Sixers' offensive production, and Philadelphia did a good job taking advantage of its talent and experience.
If there's one area that still needs improvement, though, it's the three-point shooting. Once again, Philadelphia had some inconsistency from beyond the arc. While the team found plenty of success attacking the basket and scoring inside, the perimeter shooting remains something to monitor. This is becoming a recurring theme, and against tougher competition, the Sixers will need to be more consistent from three.
Still, it's hard to complain too much after a 19-point victory.
Now comes the real test.
Philadelphia has a difficult stretch of basketball coming up, with the Pistons, Cavaliers, Celtics, Raptors, and Pacers all waiting during a six-game stretch that also includes another matchup against Chicago.
That's a serious stretch of competition, and it's going to tell us a lot about where this Sixers team stands. Detroit has proven to be a tough opponent, Cleveland and Boston are legitimate Eastern Conference threats, and Toronto and Indiana aren't teams Philadelphia can afford to overlook.
The Sixers are currently sitting at 7-1, riding a four-game winning streak, and looking like a team that could make some serious noise this season. However, the upcoming schedule is going to require more consistency, especially from three-point range and defensively.
At the end of the day, Philadelphia handled business against a team it was expected to beat. The talent is there, the chemistry continues to develop, and the starting lineup is beginning to show just how dangerous it can be when everybody is available.
The Sixers are rolling right now, but the upcoming stretch will show us just how legitimate this team really is.
