Last night the 2026 NFL Season has officially begun. The opener was a Super Bowl LX rematch of the Seattle Seahawks & New England Patriots. Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots were looking to get revenge on the Seahawks following their Super Bowl loss, but the Seahawks had other plans. Sam Darnold unfortunately suffers an injury within the beginning of the game, and the Seahawks go down 7-0 by halftime. Drake Maye at this point didn't look like he was off to a great start, considering the fact he was voted #2 for MVP last season behind Matthew Stafford.

AJ Brown in his first game as a patriot isn't off to a great start and part of the problem was that Maye was inaccurate for a lot of this game. Maye not only under threw him on which would've led to a touchdown, but also threw him into a "hospital pass" leading to him suffering an ankle injury and leaving the game later to be seen in a walking boot. AJ ended the game with 3 receptions on 4 targets with 26 yards. In his Eagles debut he recorded 10 receptions on 13 targets for 155 yards, and in Tennessee he recorded 3 receptions on 4 targets for 100 yards.

Notice a difference? Because I do. Drake Maye ends up costing New England this game after throwing 3 interceptions in the 4th quarter, including one in the end zone to former Eagle Josh Jobe which secured the game for Seattle. If this was Jalen Hurts on the other hand, the Media would be slandering him and calling him "trash" and or "basic" for the millionth time so far in his career. Why isn't this same consequences happening to Maye? The patriots had an extremely easy schedule last yeasr and when the lights were bright in the Super Bowl, what did he do? He disappeared.

Jalen Hurts outplayed Patrick Mahomes who's considered a top 5 qb of all tme in both Super Bowls against the Chiefs. Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl MVP, had one of the biggest blowouts in Super Bowl history, and all he does is win. Including playoffs, Jalen Hurts is 63-29 as a starter. Every year of AJ Brown's career as an Eagle he had over 1,000 yards, including his first two seasons at 1,500 yards. The haters say that Jalen Hurts can't throw and that he gets carried by his defense. If you watched that game, you'd say that they were talking about Drake Maye and not Jalen Hurts. Let's not forget to mention Jalen Hurts had a different offensive coordinator every year not only in the NFL but also in college. The haters will always hate and try to find ways to shread the Eagles, but you cannot deny that Jalen Hurts is a leader, a winner, and lastly a champion.
