BREAKING: Jesús Luzardo put on IL, to miss almost all of the rest of regular season

The hits just keep on coming for Jesús Luzardo.
After missing his last start "He was not feeling as well as they (the Phillies) expected today," according to The Athletics' Matt Gelb. Now what??
Luzardo is 14-5 with a 2.87 earned run average this season for the Phils. He's made 29 starts and accumulated 221 strikeouts in 178.2 innings pitched. Luzardo was nominated to the All-Star team in Philadelphia this summer for the first time in his career.
The left-hander had not made a start since September 7th, when he tossed a complete game shutout against the Atlanta Braves. Luzardo threw 109 pitches that day, which was tied for the second most this season. Luzardo also threw 109 pitches on August 15th VS the Minnesota Twins. The most pitches the Phillies' lefty has thrown in a game this year was 110, on a August 21st start against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Luzardo can be reactivated to the Phillies roster on the last day of the regular season, giving him the possibility to have one more outing before the postseason. If the Phillies do make the playoffs, while probably only a wild card team, seems likely, Luzardo is still an option according to manager Don Mattingly.
After posting a 5.77 ERA in his first eight appearances, the lefty was one of baseball’s most consistent starters and was turning into a No. 1 option for the Phillies race to the postseason. Since May 14, Luzardo recorded a 1.93 ERA (2nd in MLB with a minimum of 100 IP), 164 K's (3rd), 135 IP (2nd), a .191 opponents' batting average (fifth), and a 0.98 WHIP (seventh). The Phillies are 18-3 in his last 21 starts.
The question is do you trust him to be healthy going into the playoffs?
Guaranteed,” Luzardo said on being ready for the postseason. “I can’t say 100% I’m going to start [a postseason game], but that’s the goal. I feel confident I can make that happen.”
