Before the fame, Jaylen Brown was just a kid going to high school in Marietta Georgia. Not only was Brown a five star recruit for basketball, he graduated near the top of his school, and played varsity chess. Brown would eventually have a big decision he would make which was where he would go to college.

Brown had a bunch of great universities in the palm of his hand. UCLA, Michigan, Kentucky, UNC, and even Kansas. All of those universities are great for basketball especially Kentucky has a deep depth of players that went there. Crazy thing is Brown would actually not attend any of those universities and would instead go to Cal. Brown chose to go to Cal thinking this was the best educational choice for him instead of going to a powerhouse college.

Brown would eventually not graduate but still stood out for taking graduate level courses in his freshmen year. Brown would bring Cal to it's most recent NCAA appearance where they had a 23-11 record. Brown averaged 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. He would go onto be Pac-12 freshmen of the year, first-team all Pac-12 selection, and a finalist for the Wayman Tisdale award which would eventually go to Ben Simmons. Unfortunately in the tournament, Cal was upset by Hawaii in the first round. Brown would then go along the path after one season of Cal to declare for the NBA Draft.

Brown would then get selected 3rd overall in the draft by the Boston Celtics, where he would have an incredible career so far. Brown went onto being a five time all star, two time all-NBA, he would be on the all-rookie team, and would have three truly high achievements being the ECF finals mvp, the finals mvp, and an NBA champion. Brown now is on the third year of his five year deal worth $285 million, where he was traded from Boston to the Philadelphia 76ers, and is on one of the most stacked rosters I have ever seen in my life. Brown this offseason has even dived into a boxing match, golfed, and competed in fencing. One thing you can't deny about this guy though is that he has a drive, and he has been extremely talented and successful throughout his life and I highly doubt his foot is going off the pedal anytime soon.
